A brief history of Belleli
1947

Belleli's technical and operational roots goes back to the original Belleli S.p.A. which was founded by Rudolfo Belleli in Mantova, Italy.
For over 50 years Belleli established a leading market position as a highly reliable provider of specialist EPC Services and Critical Process Equipment and built a strong customer base within Europe and throughout the Middle East.

1997

Belleli Energy S.r.L is formed.

2001

Hanover Compressor Company Mantova purchases Belleli Mantova Site Facilities.

2002

During the 1 st half of the year Hanover Compressor Co. reaches 40% ownership of Belleli Energy and towards the end of November, 51%.

2003
By August Hanover Compressor Company reaches 100% ownership of Belleli Energy.
2005/6

Belleli Energy became two separate entities namely Belleli Energy Critical Process Equipment S.p.A. and Belleli Energy S.p.A.. The former specializing in Critical Process Equipment and the latter in Engineering Procurement & Construction

Historical Achievements
1963

Constructed the first electricity power plant for ENEL in Italy

1979

Constructed the first Urea and Methanol Plant in Libya for Uhde.

1986

First operational year of Belleli's Saudi Arabia workshop in Al Jubail, the largest in the region.

1986

Design and manufacture of the largest tubular reactor in the world for the Shell Bintulu Project (Malaysia).

1990

Design and manufacture of a new concept Syngas cool reactor for the Tampa Project (Florida).

2002

First year of operation of Belleli Energy Dubai Factory and Hamriyah Yard.

2004

Design and manufacture of new concept reactors for methanol under Lurgi licence.

2005
Execution of 6 reactors for the GTL Pearl Project for Shell Qatar (mixed Mantova & Dubai).
