Continuous score in the fabrication of CrMoVmodified material for Hydrocrakers
Belleli Energy CPE is the European First runner in the delivery of Reactors for KNPC - New Refinery Project (NRP). In fact the P.O received from KNPC in January 2006 for supply of No. 6 Reactors has been successfully fulfilled within July 08.
The result achieved by Belleli Energy CPE is a significant score in the market for such critical Units that are featured by use of sophisticated design for Pressure parts (Cr Mo V modified material) and for internals (Chevron Licence) that have been installed inside each Reactor in the Shop.
The above results are coming together with other significant scores such as:
- Grupa Lotos in Poland. No 2 Reactors for Refinery in Gdansk (Shell licence). Final test expected before end of August 08. The Reactors will remain in our Yard waiting for shipment (expected 6 Months later due to delayed completion of two similar Reactors under fabrication by other Manufacturer)
- Petrocanada No. 1 Reactor for Montreal Refinery (UOP licence). P.O. received in Nov 06, completed one Month ahead of contractual delivery.
- Sinopec Engineering Incorporated for New Refinery. We are successfully proceeding with welds of Heavy wall Reactors (No. 6 Units up to 325 mm Thickness in Cr Mo V modified material – Axens licence). Circunferential welds are made using our narrow gap technique (See Macrophotograph below)

Belleli Energy CPE has achieved Nuclear Stamp
Belleli Energy CPE has achieved “N” and “NPT” Certificates of Authorization (N-3260 and N-3261) and the “NS” Certificate of Accreditation (N-3262) from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). These certifications authorize Belleli Energy CPE to use ASME Code Symbol Stamps for construction of Nuclear Pressure Vessels.
ASME standards are recognized worldwide and represents a set of technical definitions and guidelines, “how to” instructions for designers, manufacturers and users. ASME Standards, , promote safety, reliability, productivity and efficiency in almost every industry that relies on engineering components or equipment.

Shipment of Reactor
 Hanover Belleli Energy CPE S.p.A, at our Factory in Mantova, has recently concluded the fabrication of the last of a series of 4 Reactors destined for a new Refinery in Taiwan. It is the biggest reactor ever fabricated in Mantova of which dimensions and weight should be noted as being the biggest ever manufactured worldwide. The thickness of the pressure retaining parts is more than 300mm, the dia. approx. 4 mt. and the total weight approx. 1200 metric tons.
With this excellent result Hanover Belleli Energy CPE SpA can confirm its position amongst one of the first 5 companies in the world capable of producing such complex equipment. |
